The city of Las Vegas looks to be the next city to get a major monorail system. It is scheduled to open in Spring of 2004 when it will be come the “largest monorail system to be developed since 1971.” Well, we all know what happened in 1971, don”t we?

Pay special attention to the picture at the bottom. Is it me, or does whole concept of a monorail above of a pentagonal sign with a circular icon on top seem very familiar… a certain Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow comes to mind… hmmm.
