I just got back from my mini-trip to Walt Disney World for the 4th of July and boy am I disappointed. My girlfriend went to the Magic Kingdom last year for the 4th and was blown away by the fireworks. She said they ran at both 9pm and midnight, surrounded the park, and were seemingly endless. She is a huge fan of fireworks and she says it was the best show she’’s ever seen.

I went with her this year (I didn’t know her last year) with hopes of seeing a similar performance. Much to my dismay, what I saw was horrible. I say, at most, 5 minutes worth of fireworks. They were all red white and blue and not very good ones. They did surround us, but not for nearly long enough. My girlfriend says that last year’’s was waaaaaay better.

Was anyone else at MK for the 4th this year and last? Can anyone else tell me why this year’’s show was short, only came once at 9pm, and was so lame?
