The recent Travel Channel special, “Disney Imagineers,” featured interviews with many of Disney’’s theme park innovators. In the background behind one of them was a model of Cinderella Castle with some pretty cool fiber optic effects running around it.

This may be what they’re installing with the crane that’’s behind the castle right now, but probably not. These fiber optics look like they would be a massive undertaking, not a minor rehab. They would definitely add a new magical element to the castle.
