First off I would like to introduce myself. I am ArtOfDisney (aka J). I”ll be writing a column on a variety of topics ranging from Historical Unique Disney Facts, Walt Disney The Dreamer, and my favorite, I’ll be answering questions from you on Disney Topics.

I”ll be posting a Q&A with J e-mail address shortly so you”ll be able to ask me those Disney questions that are just bugging you and to answer my trivia questions. To start off I”ll be answering just one question today followed by my Can U Tell ME? trivia questions. Good Luck!

Q: When I was younger I went to the Magic Kingdom and saw the Carousel of Progress and the song they sang was different than the Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow that is played now. Can you tell me what it was? Tony

A: Why yes there were 2 different songs. Although Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow is currently in the Carousel of Progress attraction, it was also the original song used in the New York World’’s Fair when the attraction originally debuted (sponsored by GE). The song stayed with it until the attraction came to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in 1975 when it changed to The Best Time of Your Life. During revisions over the years the original song has made a return to the attraction.
