On November 1, disney is finally releasing a collection of shorts, that I for one, have been wanting for some time. First up is a Disney Wal-Mart exclusive “The 3 Wise Men”, this is a new release that I am sure will be a good classic to add to the Christmas cheer. Next up also on November 1, is the one I have been waiting for “Classic Holiday Stories.” What makes this so special is it includes and debutes the Don Bluth directed, 1978 piece “The Small One” about a young boy who must sell his donkey and does so unknowingly to Mary and Joseph. This has been a hard one to find due to the political correctness of society now. I say if a piece was made, it was made. Therefore let it be. It depicts one religion, so what. If there was a good story about another religion or belief I would watch that too. In keeping politically correct, you save others from being offended but offend a different group. So if you can wine, just let it be. Okay, enough rambling. I am looking forward to this RARE release from Disney.

okay now up is some new posts from Amazon. The following releases have been slated on Amazon.com and many are gems to be added to your collection. And some are pieces to keep in the Amazon warehouse.

Lady and the Tramp: Platinum Edition - February 28, Toy Story 2: 2-Disc Special Edition - December 26, Kronk’s New Groove - December 13, and Bambi II - February 7. January 17th lends its hand to these fine Live Action releases: Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken, The Devil and Max Devlin, Benji the Hunted, My Dog, the Thief. Many of these are great pieces to be added to my collection and yours. The Live action I will get for sure, and some of the animated features. For instance, Lady & The Tramp, Toy Story 2 are great additions and will go awesome with the addition of Cinderella - October 2005, but Kronk’s New Groove and Bambi II? Come on, why destroy more classics in the Direct to Video area (DTV). I mean after Cinderella II, I have had enough of ruining classic Disney films due to marketing and lack of creativity. Create something new. Something exciting. Something NOT CGI!!! If anyone disagrees, please sound off. I am open minded to opinions and welcome your thoughts. Maybe you can change my mind and help me see the Disney light in DTV.
