now I have talked about this wonderful Disney cartoon short many times so far as well as talked about the Lp containing the story of Donald in “Trick or Treat” narrated by Witch Hazel. Well boys and girls I have uncovered my copy of this LP from my many many Disney collectibles and gave it a listen on the Record player. Now I do have it on CD as well…but the pops and hisses of the old LP made it seem that much more Halloween to me.
in fact it was the perfect background LP for carving some more pumpkins this wekend. This is a MUST HAVE for any Disney fan, collector or Parent.
Happy Haunts,

I would love to know how I could get this on CD also. I used to listen to the LP as a kid and would love my kids to be able to listen to it too. If you have any info PLEASE let me know.
I did see where you could get the VHS on Amazon.
Thanks

I HAVE FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE ELSE WHO KNOWS THIS LP EXISTS!!!!! It was always one of my favorites, but my older brother took it to school and broke it-do you know of any way I can get it on CD or ANY WAY I can get it? Also, is there any way I can get the Trick or Treat short (the 1952 Witch Hazel classic) on DVD, VHS or however? Thanks!!!!!

You can find it now and then on ebay, but it usually goes for pretty high. I can make a CD for you. Also someone has posted the video of the cartoon here:

For anyone interested I have shared a lot of my children’s LPs here:

You can now and then find the VHS containing Trick or Treat and 3 other shorts also on ebay, but they don’t show up often. Disney has never made the VHS into DVD form though that I know of.

Thanks for your response. Was it you that offered to make a CD of the LP Disney’s Trick or Treat? I’d love to have one, both sides if I could. I wish I could purchase the LP as well.
Please let me know. Thanks Dave!!! Also let me know about your cost.

Yes I can make you one for $6.99 plus mailing. Or $5.99 if you only want a slim jewel case. The reason so much is I record with highest quality sound rating (320 kbps), and I also include all full-color graphic inserts on glossy paper, and full-color inkjet printing directly onto the disc - no stick on labels. I know of some other ridiculous recording sites that charge as much as $35.00 per CD. It’s what made me get the equipment to do my own high quality CDs. I found that at $6.99 per CD I make about 49 cents profit. So that tells me these other guys are making a killing.

1 CD would cost $11.00 with shipping. You can either send USA Funds Money Order, or make PayPal payment to DavesWorld56@msn.com . Thanks.
I would like everyone to know that I don’t want to step on any toes with this offer. So if I am doing so I won’t feel the least offended if my offer is removed. Thanks for this discussion. My very first LP purchase (with my own money) was a Disney LP in 1970, and I’ve loved them ever since.

Wow, Dave! What a great gift. Did she buy it online? Did you open it? Frame it? =)
Dave
September 13th, 2008 at 3:54 pm
I think she got them off ebay. I’m not sure what I will do with it yet. I may frame it if I can do so without damaging the shrink wrap.
BTW - how do we email other commenters here? A couple folks have asked me to email them, but I don’t see any links shwoing their email addy.
