This is by far one of my favorite LPs from classic Disney records. It is the first adaption of mickey’s Christmas Carol. This version was released before the cartoon short classic we all know and love and was actually the inspiration for creating the classic short.

There are some elements I just love about the LP. First off the roles are changed a bit. The 3 Ghosts are very different from what you remember including Merlin being one of them!!!! Also, it is a Musical. YES!!!! A musical. Since it is on a record the music sets the mood and who could forget songs like Scrooge’s “Money Money Money” and many more the ghost and others sing throughout the album.

It is very very very different from the Cartoon Classic but it ENJOYABLE to hear over and over again. If you have this record cherish it and if you do not pick it up and you will not be disappointed.
