Well the time has come. We all know at the Disney Parks there is a huge Holiday celebration and the one item I love to see each year…Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade. But what about those of us who cannot make it down there this year. Well there is always the TV special!
Each year Disney has their Christmas Special (yes Christmas…not Holiday…it is Christmas afterall) and for many years I have woken up and watched it from the time I was a kid until now. There were some years they did miss though and I thought it was a shame since many of us have come to wake up and watch the Disney Parade to satisfy that Holiday Fever and Spread Christmas Cheer.
Well this year will be no different. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade returns to ABC once again on Christmas Day beginning at 10 a.m. Get ready for the holiday to be Disney filled and you can be sure you will see characters like Chicken Little, The Disney Princesses, some 50th Anniversary Cheer and of coarse the main features…Santa and Mickey.
So tune in on Chrismtas Day and watch Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade beginning at 10 a.m. until Noon - Eastern Time
Merry Christmas,

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade is different than the one they show on TV. The one they show on tv is the Christmas Day Parade. I’ve seen Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Day Parade before….and it is not the Christmas Day Parade. Get your titles straight please and don’t mess those two up. They are very different from each other.

The person who left the above post does not know what they are talking about. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade has been the title of the annual TV broadcast until very recently. It is true that the TV show has technically changed its name to the Christmas Day Parade … but most people still refer to it as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade.
By the way I am collecting the video recordings of the Christmas and Easter parades (as telecast). I have most recordings from the late 80s, some of the 90s, and almost all of the 2000s. If you have any recordings of the Disney Christmas Parade Telecast, please email me at: tylerschwartz@hotmail.com. Or - if you are interested in a copy of any of these videos, please feel free to contact me.
