SO EVERYONE KEEPS POSTING ABOUT THIS TOPIC AS IT GETS CLOSER TO DECEMBER. SO I BROUGHT IT UP TO THE TOP AGAIN. NOW BEFORE YOU GO AND TRY THE LINK…FIRST READ ALL THE POSTS..BECAUSE ST. NICK DIDN’T COME YET, BUT HE WILL BE SOON. KEEP COMMMENTING AND LET US KNOW ABOUT OTHER GOODIES FOR THE REALDISNEY FAMILY CHRISTMAS.

Well, in time for the holidays I decided to create something for our wonderful Disney fans out there. A few posts ago I discussed an old LP of Disney’s A Christmas Carol. This LP was a classic way before the cartoon we all know and love.

The LP was recorded by the Disney Players and told the story of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol through the story of Scrooge. The LP offered many items the cartoon did not. For one it had all new and original music for the tale. It featured 6 new songs:

“Money,” by Scrooge and Mickey
“This is how Christmas Ought to Be,” by Scrooge
“Being Tight is not all Right,” by Goofy
“Under the Mistletoe,” The Disney Chorus
“We have Love,” Mickey
and “What a Glorious Christmas Morning.” The Disney Chorus

The LP was released years before the cartoon classic from the 80s in 1974 and also featured a different ghost lineup than we all know. It feautred Merlin as the the Ghost of Christmas Past and The Witch from SNow White as the Ghost of Christmas Future. The story is one I have loved for a long time but it has never been released on CD or even Tape.

So now for my Christmas gift to you. Follow the link below and I have transferred the whole LP as an MP3 for your holiday pleasure. Please let us know our efforts weren’t taken for granted. Please post and let us know if you like this and maybe I will transfer the whole “From all of US to all of You” song from LP to MP3 since the version on CD the last couple of years is not the full version. The LP is available for only a certain amount of downloads so you better hurry.

Merry Christmas and Enjoy.
