
Due to complaints by consumer organizations and opponents of underage drinking, Disney has decided to stop distributing Ratatouille Chardonnay. The French 2004 vintage white Burgundy Remy on the Ratatouille character Remy on the label. Some people thought that by depicting a popular character on the label they were marketing to children and it could promote underage drinking.
It is rumored that the French wine was also opposed by California wine makers, but those rumors have been denied.
