Well the speculation is over. Martin Short, star of film and comedy mainstays SNL and SCTV, will serve as the narrator of the new O Canada film at Epcot. Short, a proud Canadian, will play various roles in the film, including a cowboy and a Cirque du Soleil cast member. With Short involved the film will most certainly be comic in nature and will turn the spotlight on the modern Canada with an emphasis on the star power that rolls down from America’s northern neighbors.

The film will also feature new music and vocals by last year’s Canadian Idol, Eva Avila. Hopefully this update is good one, because it could 2035 before we see another one.
