After some problems getting some files archived for all you RD readers, I am here to bring you goodies throughout October by resuming with some Chilling Sounds. As we approach Halloween and the time with Trick or Treaters at our door, how much do you like to set the mood when they come to your house?
Remember the old days of the spooky LPs and Tapes with sounds, sound effects, and ghost stories to keep us entertained as children and also scared us out of our beds every so often. One of those that always got me was Disney’s: Chilling, Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House. This album always got me even though it was out way before I was even thought of.
THis Disney LP is full of so man tracks I can’t even list them all. But f you want to send shivers down your spine….this is the way to do it.

I had this LP when I was a kid and I sent this link to my siblings. We all have fond memories of these sound effects. I have no idea what happened to our album, so it was quite nice to find it here. Thanks!

Hate to tell you but your zip file is from the 1979 verson of Chilling, Thrilling. Not the 1964 version you have a photo of above.

I was aware of that as well. Thank you for the note. I realized that when I was transferring the 64 LP and posted the wrong one by accident. I’ll have to change it.
Thats why I love Disney fans so much. So much knowledge. hahaha.
