There have been rumors that Disneyland will begin to offer Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney’s California Adventure beginning this year. The event has been very popular for years at Walt Disney World.

The rumor on the street is that DCA’s much maligned Superstar Limo will remain closed through the end of the summer. The ride is not exceedingly entertaining so perhaps we will see a retool or a refurb. We will post a follow up as soon as we hear anything else.
Some rumors are being confirmed about the new DCA Tower of Terror. The tower will have a more mission-style facade to blend in with the park, besides that, it will probably be identical to the Florida attraction.

Disney is offering a discount through June 19th that they are hoping will boost attendance at the California Parks. Residents of Southern California and Baja, Mexico will be able to buy 5 admission tickets per day at a $10 discount. The purchased tickets must be used the day of purchase.
They broke ground for DCA’s Tower of Terror. The Tower is being built behind the Hyperion Theater in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. It will be a few years (2003/2004?) before the Tower is up, but it will really give DCA a boost onces its completed.
The latest addition to the “Attractions Borrowed From Walt Disney World” section of Disney’’s California Adventure will be the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Yes, you heard it here first: Disney’’s California Adventure still exists in… well, California. It has not spontaneously combusted. It has not been eaten by a giant armadillo. Moreover, it has not been shut down and replaced by a good theme park.

Steps in Time…No more’, ‘2001-10-10 12:37:27′, ‘Its seems the super huge show at Disney’’s California Adventure may be cancelled. The huge theater that houses the show is almost alway less then half capacity. The show strings together Disney classic songs along with dancing and multimedia projection.
Two major restaurants are closing at Disney’’s California Adventure after minimal attendance leaves them with minimal interest. Avalon Cove, owned by Wolfgang Puck Food Co., closed on Monday. The Golden Vine Winery, previously run by Robert Mondavi Corp., is now having its ownership turned over to Disney.
