Taiwan phones to get character

The Disney Internet Group has recently announced that Taiwan Cellular Corp., the country’’s largest mobile telephone company, will soon be offering logos, screen savers, and ring tones based on Disney characters. Later, more advanced content, such as games, will be added to the phones.

Interbrand, a company that ranks company brands based on consumer demand and financial reports, has ranked Disney as number 1 for entertainment companies and number 7 overall. Interbrand has calculated that the Disney is worth is worth $32.6 billion dollars, down 1 billion dollars from last years estimate.
