“Ratatouille” is #1

According to studio estimates issued on Sunday, “Ratatouille” sold $47.2 million worth of tickets during its first three days. It took the No. 1 slot ahead of the much hyped “Live Free or Die Hard” which earned $33.2 million.

Great news for Pirate’s fans, “At World’s End” is still the #1 film in the country. The film took in about $43.2 million this weekend. That makes for a grand total of about $216.5M in a little under 2 weeks. That’s a lot of doubloons.
