Euro Disney SCA revenue went up 8% to a respectable €173.7 million, boosted by a 9% rise in attendance at Disneyland Paris. Hotel occupancy was up 4.7% and revenue at Hotels and Disney Village rose 21% to €132.7 million, lifted by a 17% increase in average spending per room.

Disneyland Studios is opening this month and to celebrate they are auctioning off “unique” items on Ebay. Among the items are hats, limited edition pins and jackets. The auctions currently up there end on March 13th and 14th so hurry up and place your bids. That hard hat will be mine!

Euro Disney, operator of Disneyland Paris theme park has stated that that revenues have improved by 4.3% in the nine months ending in June. The revenue increase is seen as a result of a modest increase in guests at the park and hotels.

For all you investment freaks: Euro Disney SCA, the company behind Disneyland Paris, saw its share price return above 1 euros last Friday, and has since reached its highest price since November 1999, climbing to 1.15 euros.
According to sources its operating margins were up 36 per cent thanks to development of its property division.
