The Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Ice Cream Parlor has reopened after some refurbishment. It doesn’t look terribly different from before. It’’s cleaned up a little bit and smells just as good as ever.

I will be leaving for Walt Disney World in about half an hour and will return on Friday with updates on Mission: Space and Sorcerer Mickey hat construction as well as anything else going on in the World.

The bust of future Hall of Presidents resident, George W. Bush, has been put on display in the rotunda of said attraction. Here are recently obtained pictures of the sculpture:

Four new parades are being rolled out for the 100 Years of Magic Celebration at Walt Disney World. All four parades will run simultaniously in the four parks and will incorporate the new “Suite of Dreams” music written for the celebration.

The official E-Ride Nights schedule has been updated, adding July 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, and 27 to the list. E-Ride Nights let Walt Disney World Resort Guests stay late in the Magic Kingdom by paying a small extra fee. In July, they will run from 10:00pm to 1:00am.

Well the official line from Disney is that The Timekeeper is a seasonal closure. Coming form Disney that can mean anything. It could mean that the ride is going to be refurbished (perhaps like 20000 Leagues Under the Sea ) and will reopen at the end of the summer.

Finally, this carnival-style ride is ready for liftoff. I know everyone has been talking about it for a while, everyone excited etc. I just hope it doesnt ruin the flavor of Adventureland. We shall see.
