You can always count on Disney to run a cool video contest every year and this one looks like a ball. The rules are simple:
HOW TO ENTER
Just upload a video (up to one minute long) of your favorite Disney Parks memory. It can be actual footage of your Disney vacation, a re-enactment or any creative expression of your memory. And it can be a memory of any Disney Parks property: Disney Cruise Line®, Adventures by Disney, Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort, etc.Take a look at some of the videos on this page for inspiration and remember to follow these simple rules:
1. Say (or show) the words “My Favorite Disney Parks Memory” at the beginning of your video.
2. Make sure your video is one minute or less.
3. Only use props and clothing that are free of company logos.
4. Only use original music, lyrics or video clips that you have the rights to use.
5. Only include people, even in the background, that have given permission to be included
OK, rule 5 might not be so easy, but you know you have some cool park footage of family and friends lying around, why not enter? When you do, drop us a line here at RD and we will post a link to your video and help get the word out. Good Luck!
So in my surfing the web this weekend I came across a video that really pulled at my emotions. I am not sure if it is because of the choice of song used, my fond memories of going there growing up or the sad state it is currently in being overgrown.
Either way it really pulled at my and I kept thinking of it all weekend after seeing the video. It actually sparked a call to my father and I thanked him for all the years taking us from our cold Wisconsin down to Florida and to River Country every year growing up.
Well I will quit getting all emotional, but I sure do miss River Country.
Settle back and take a tour of Disneyland’s new Tomorrowland aboard the Disneyland Peoplemover. OK, the editing is a little shaky, but its a piece of history so take it with a grain of salt. I really wish they would just bring the Peoplemover back. C’mon Disney, the clouds of the Rockets Rods debacle have long since gone. Bring back this classic relaxing ride!
