A new parade has begun in Disneyland Paris called Toon Circus. The parade which occurs fouur times a day on Main Street features Mickey, Goofy, Roger Rabbit, Minnie, Pluto and Donald Duck joined by jugglers galore. Its a colorful event and great time to get pics of the characters.
Not the newest of news, but it is official. Doug Live! will not be returning. The show, which combined live performances and animation, shut its doors on May 12th for good. As of this date, all but 4 of the 40 employees that were employed at the show have been given new jobs.
You know those ten seats that the fastest finger contestants get to sit on the floor of the real Who Wants to Be a Millionaire show in New York? Well, the attraction at the Disney-MGM Studios has similar seats, but they don”t mean anything special. They simply give ten lucky people a chance to sit on the floor throughout the show and get their own monitors while playing along with the rest of the audience.
I recently found out how to get into those seats, as I sat in one for one of yesterday’’s shows. All you have to do is get a FastPass for the attraction and then show up 25-30 minutes before your FastPass time. To put it simply, be the first FastPass person there. The Cast Member letting people in outside will let you in early and you (and the next four FastPass holders) will be handed a small card that lets you sit on the floor.
I believe the other five cards get handed to the first five people waiting in the Stand-By line. Overall, it’’s definitely worth the extra wait since the seats on the floor are more exciting and much more comfortable. ![]()
I discovered yesterday that old, expired passes still work with the FastPass system. I had a Florida Resident Seasonal Pass that had expired last week and I was able to to obtain FastPasses for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire - Play It! using both my newly bought Annual Pass as well as my old, expired Seasonal Pass. I”m not sure if this works for standard single-park passes or multi-day Park Hoppers, but I don”t see why it wouldn”t.
